Payments
Payment is accepted via check, paypal, and cash. Either full payment or co-payments are due at the time of service, or pre-payment online through Paypal (see below). Monthly invoices will be determined on a case by case basis.
Dr. Shapiro is currently participating as an IN-NETWORK provider for the following insurance companies:
1. Aetna
2. Anthem Blue Cross
3. Blue Shield
4. Cigna
5. Tri-Care (out of network, contracted provider)
If your health insurance company is other than those listed above, I am happy to provide you with forms (including type of service and diagnosis code as well as any other information needed) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, and I am also happy to speak with your company if needed. If you provide me with your information including insurance company, group number, policy number, etc., I am happy to call on your behalf to determine how to help get you treated within the context of your specific mental health benefits, bill your insurance company (if your company allows for this), and you navigate the managed care process more smoothly.
